If you ever thought about starting programming, starting learning how to develop website this course will make you create one. No prior programming experience is necessary, if you never even saw HTML tags after this course you will still be able to:
- Understand how websites are created and how they generate content.
- Know how to use Visual Studio 2008 Express edition to develop websites.
- Know how to use existing and free websites templates.
- Know how to create SQL database tables and use them in your website.
- Know how to secure your website pages, register users, provide them a way to log in, how to add, update and delete users.
- Useful fundamentals of ASP.NET 3.5 framework.
- Useful fundamentals of programming using C# 3.5.
- Start using LINQ to SQL so you can get and update data in the database - that you will create - LINQ to SQL is a new technology that some experience ASP.NET developers do not know how to use it.
All you need it a desire to learn and see if this is something you want to do (and a laptop).
It is a 6 hour weekend course in max 12 people group, you pick a location and you pick a weekend day.
